Children shouldn’t have to wait for the health care services they need and deserve. That’s why thousands of people from Wake County and surrounding communities are coming together to help raise awareness and support for the new WakeMed Children’s Hospital.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Sign up for our free email alerts. We’ll send you occasional emails about how the community is coming together to support the WakeMed Just for Kids Kampaign and our progress in enhancing children’s care and services. Sign up now.
- Show Your Support. Sign your name and comments on our “virtual wall” of supporters. Tell others in the community why you think it’s important that we come together for children’s health care.
- Spread the Word. Help us grow the community of supporters for WakeMed Children’s Hospital by telling your friends, family and colleagues about our efforts and encouraging them to join us. Help spread the word via:

- Facebook: Become a fan of WakeMed Children’s and share us in your feed.
- Twitter: Follow WakeMedChildren on Twitter and spread the word!
- Contribute: Join thousands of other individuals from Wake County and surrounding communities by making a contribution to the new Children’s Hospital. Every contribution, whether it’s $50, $250, $1,000 or more makes a tremendous difference — and goes directly toward serving the health care needs of children in our community.
- Start Fundraising for Children:
Reach out to your friends, families and colleagues and ask them to join you in supporting the new WakeMed Children’s Hospital. Create your own personal or group fundraising page and find other ideas on how you can help reach our Phase I goal of $8.5 million for children.
